My First Vioxx

I just took my Vioxx for today. That got me to thinking about our insurance. They recently decided to raise our co-pay from $20 to $35 as a way to force me off of Vioxx and onto generic drugs, and went so far as to claim that aspirin had been found to be just as effective. Excuse me. Um. whut? I haven’t looked up this particular study just yet, but I suspect this has more to do with Blue Cross/Blue Shield maintaining their profit margin. I guess the $71 a week they take from me just isn’t enough.
