“Billy Ray Montgomery” was released as a single of January 1st, 2024, and will be included on the album In The Fifth Circle, which will be released in late 2024 or in January of 2025 (assuming it's ever finished).
There's an old man over there,
Sittin' on his porch,
He ain't goin' anywhere.
Young girl in the street;
Got a warm smile
For every boy she meets.
Youngblood's on the corner;
Saw sweet thang,
Tried to call her over.
Old man said...
Run child! Ain't nothin' any good
comes of Billy Ray Montgomery.
Run child! Ain't nothin' any good
comes of Billy Ray Montgomery.
Law man's on patrol;
Got a good feel
For his people, don't ya know.
Business man closed shop.
Don't look around;
Late for his drop.
Youngblood's got a gun.
Saw businessman.
Wants to have some fun.
Law man said...
Run child! Ain't nothin' any good
comes of Billy Ray Montgomery.
Run child! Ain't nothin' any good
comes of Billy Ray Montgomery.
(BRIDGE)
In the parlance that those whose minds
And bodies have been sacrificed,
Those once normal people;
To them I am their lifeline of supply
To which they must cling or perish.
Without me they would never be able
To procure that which their bodies
So craves and their desperate minds
Cannot do without.
Because without me there can be no normal people.
Without me there can be no normal people.
Without me...
Normal people.
Without me...
Normal people
Because without me...
Because without me...
There's a young girl over there;
Got a twitch in her hip
And a 100 yard stare.
Youngblood's on the corner,
Still lookin for a woman
That'll help tide him over
Devil man's got bones.
Got a name on the paper,
Got a trick all his own...
Run child! Ain't nothin' any good
comes of Billy Ray Montgomery.
Run child! Ain't nothin' any good
comes of Billy Ray Montgomery.
Run child! Ain't nothin' any good
comes of Billy Ray Montgomery.
Run child! Ain't nothin' any good
comes of Billy Ray Montgomery.

“Billy Ray Montgomery” is one of the only songs in the In The Fifth Circle project which doesn't have an accompanying short story. That might seem random, but it makes sense within the context of the other stories.
The “Billy Ray Montgomery” video would not have been possible without the video clips used to constitute the video, which were graciously provided through via Pexels, the free stock photo and video website, by the following;
[Please note: I have been as thorough as possible on the credits for the clips, but I do feel like a few are missing. I'll update this list soon.]
