“‘Burning Idols’ is a weird one. I used it as the theme song for my podcasts back in the day, just because it was sort of loud and obnoxious. I still have a fondness for it. It does go a bit long, but that's mostly because I had so much fun when I was recording it. A quirky beast. It's not one I'm likely to ever revisit, but I'm glad it happened. If there was a concept behind it, I think it was mostly a sense that sometimes you have to burn everything to the ground before you can really start over, including your idols.
